Jamie Dozier
Jamie Dozier is an instructional leader with over 20 years of experience in public education. She is dedicated to empowering educators to excel in their craft so that students can achieve their highest potential. With a passion for cultivating dynamic learning environments, Jamie has leveraged her expertise in pedagogy, curriculum development, and instructional technology to support K-8 teachers in implementing best practices tailored to diverse classrooms.
Jamie holds Masters’ Degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from the University of Florida and University of Central Florida, respectively. Her journey in education has been driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, which most recently led to her completion of 200 hours of training in the Science of Reading, including Orton-Gillingham training at the Classroom Educator and Associate levels through RCF.
With support from RCF, Jamie has been able to lead the implementation of the OG approach at two different public schools over the last 5 years. She has seen firsthand how OG empowers educators, transforms schools, and can change the trajectory of a child’s life. Jamie believes that every child deserves a teacher who can confidently teach them how to read and is dedicated to making that a reality as a member of RCF’s OG Implementation Team.
