Neil Abramsom

Neil has 36 years of Development, Advancement, and Marketing experience in the Academic and Tertiary Health Care industry, Social Service Non-Profits, Higher Education, Research, Veteran Service Organizations, Independent Schools, and Zoos and Aquariums. He is a dedicated, results-oriented individual who understands and demonstrates the importance of influence building. Throughout his career, he has consistently exceeded productivity goals through creating opportunities and developing and launching successful initiatives. Neil is a highly effective leader, communicator, and motivator with proven skills to solve complex issues. He is a strong contributor to team dynamics and collaboration with key partners in an organizational setting.

Neil has played integral roles in teams that have successfully completed capital campaigns including, $1 billion, $256 million, $69 million, $2.7 million, and $1.7 million. Neil has lived and worked in the Central Florida community for 18 years and before that spent five years as the Associate Vice President/Director of Development for the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. Prior to his move to Las Vegas, he held different executive positions in advancement for the Saint Barnabas Health Care System in New Jersey, Yale School of Medicine and Yale New-Haven Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital and College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and the Mount Sinai Hospital and School of Medicine in New York.

He currently lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife Melissa, three children, Sam, Rachel, and Stephanie, and dogs Roxy. And Palmer Neil and his family dedicate their time to support the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies through their volunteer work with The Arnold Palmer Invitational, a PGA Tour event held each March in Orlando. Neil earned his B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Hartford and was a member of their Division I men’s golf team.
