Caroll Foltz, M. Ed

Director of Special Projects

Caroll Foltz is thrilled to join the REED Charitable Foundation (RCF) as Director of Special Projects in a part-time role.

Caroll earned her Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Florida Southern College and her Masters in Educational Leadership from University of Central Florida. She was an educator with Orange County Public Schools for 38 years, as a teacher, curriculum specialist and administrator. She served the last 25 years as a Principal and Master Principal. Her most recent leadership roles were at Wolf Lake Elementary and Zellwood Elementary, where she partnered with RCF to ensure every teacher received Orton-Gillingham training and the tools to teach all students to read. She attributes much of each school’s success to this work, including helping Zellwood earn its first “A” school grade in two decades in 2024. Caroll has always been a vigilant advocate for RCF’s work and won the Literacy Champion Award in 2025.  After retiring in 2024, Caroll is excited to come on board with RCF to support expanding our reach as we continue to provide best-in-class structured literacy training.

Note: She was known professionally as Caroll Grimando throughout her principal career and adopted the name Foltz following her marriage in 2025.
