Cindy Duque Bonilla is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight’s Orlando and Miami offices. Ms. Bonilla has more than 22 years of litigation experience and focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, catastrophic injury, product liability matters, defense of healthcare insurers and construction law, as well as a wide array of legal services to Latin American companies doing business in the United States.

Ms. Bonilla has extensive experience handling cases involving death and catastrophic injuries resulting from truck, automobile and aircraft accidents. She defends manufacturers, suppliers, designers and contractors against claims involving alleged manufacturing and design defects. In addition, Ms. Bonilla has across-the-board experience representing general contractors, owners and design professionals in a variety of construction litigation matters.

She also has widespread experience in representing healthcare insurers and other business entities in a wide array of commercial disputes. Ms. Bonilla also has significant experience in international relations. Her extensive background guiding clients in matters involving a wide range of diverse governments, cultures and business customs equip her to skillfully advise clients in Latin America that are looking to establish business operations in the United States and elsewhere.

In addition, Ms. Bonilla’s attention and commitment to every case and use of effective and efficient solution strategies has been key to obtaining favorable results for her clients. In the community, Ms. Bonilla has an active pro bono practice, primarily focused on immigration cases. She also volunteers as a mentor to young and rising attorneys, as well as serves as a coach and judge for a local high school’s nationally competitive speech and debate team.

In addition, Ms. Bonilla demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing opportunities for aspiring legal professionals as an active supporter of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida Scholarship Fund and the Hispanic National Bar Association, helping provide resources and mentorship to future leaders in the legal community. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Bonilla was a litigation attorney for a national litigation law firm in its Orlando office.
