Heather Talla serves as Chief Development Officer of the REED Charitable Foundation, where she leads fundraising, partnerships, and grant strategy to expand RCF’s impact.
Heather brings two decades of experience in nonprofit development, marketing, and strategicconsulting. She has built partnerships and collaborative initiatives with nonprofits and Fortune 500 companies alike, with a focus on strengthening organizations that serve vulnerable and underserved communities. Through this work, she has seen a consistent reality: learning differences such as dyslexia are significantly overrepresented among youth experiencing homelessness, involvement in the justice system, and other at-risk circumstances, underscoring the importance of early identification and support.
Her commitment to this work is also personal. As the mother of five sons, including one with dyslexia, Heather understands firsthand the challenges families face in finding the right support.
She approaches her work with a conviction that mission-driven development can remove barriers and expand opportunities to create lasting pathways of hope for the next generation.
