Kari Baker is a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist (C-SLDS) through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction and a Fellow-in-Training with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. She brings over a decade of classroom experience and has trained hundreds of educators in evidence-based methods for teaching students with dyslexia. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
Kari is both an advocate and educator in the field of dyslexia intervention, driven by personal experience—she is dyslexic herself and knows firsthand the life-changing impact of Structured Literacy. She believes deeply in the power of Orton-Gillingham instruction not only for students with dyslexia, but for all learners.
